Father’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the love and care that fathers show to their children every day. This year, why not take a sustainable approach to Father’s Day gifts and create something that’s not only meaningful but also environmentally friendly?
By involving children in the process, you can teach them about sustainability and the importance of reducing waste. Here are some fun ideas for sustainable Father’s Day gifts that you can make with your children.
Pump tracks are an excellent way to introduce kids to the world of cycling, providing them with a fun, safe, and accessible space to practice their skills. These tracks are designed with small hills and jumps, which riders can navigate by using their body weight to pump their bike over the terrain. Not only are they a great way to get kids outside and active, but they also help to build confidence, coordination, and bike-handling skills.
If you're looking for a pump track that's perfect for kids, then you're in luck. There are plenty of options in the UK, from small community-run tracks to large-scale facilities that cater to riders of all ages and abilities.
Once your child has mastered balancing and pedalling a bike, then it’s the perfect time to encourage them to learn some new skills and drills to challenge them.
At Frog Bikes, we take great pride in creating high-quality children's bikes that are not only designed with safety and functionality in mind but are also hand-built right here in Great Britain, in Pontypool Wales.
For the second time, Frog Bikes, a leading manufacturer of lightweight kids' bikes, has won the UK's most prestigious business award, the King's Award for Enterprise.
Whether you prefer lochside adventures in Scotland or woodland wildlife sanctuaries in Cornwall, you can test out these select forest cycle routes that are family-friendly. Gather up the kids, pack a few sandwiches, and head out for a memorable family day.
Frog Bikes and Welsh Cycling are thrilled to launch the new cycling Skills Award designed to help young cyclists improve their cycling skills and confidence.
We caught up with Anna Glowinski, a lifelong cyclist and cycling ambassador. Anna was racing from the age of five, but being more creative than competitive she followed a media and design career path in cycling. She launched a women's cycling clothing brand, AnaNichoola in 2009 and also became known as a television presenter, for ITV4’s ‘The Cycle Show,’ where she was sent out to try all sorts of exciting and scary cycling skills. From velodrome to dirt jumps, MTB to road racing, Anna definitely enjoys the adrenaline side of bikes. When we approached Anna for a Q&A session she was very happy to share her journey with us.
