Frog Bikes' offers a standard warranty which is for 2 years on all frames, forks, parts & paintwork. (This excludes tyres & inner tubes). Suspension forks come with a standard warranty of 2 years and are not included in the Warranty Plus offer. Note: Please refer to our standard terms and conditions for further detail.
We offer a FREE 10-year extended warranty on frames and forks (excluding MTB suspension forks) when you complete and submit the Warranty Plus application form within 28 days of purchase. This extended warranty is only for new, full-priced bikes or bikes purchased from our Frog Factory Outlet and is non-transferable.
Please note: Second-hand bikes, bikes refurbished by a third party, and M.O.T bikes are not eligible for Warranty Plus.
If you have purchased a second-hand Frog bike, you can take it to a participating Frog stockist for an M.O.T check-up. If the bike passes, you’ll receive a 1-year warranty from Frog Bikes. This warranty is available for both second-hand bikes and Frog Factory Outlet bikes. If you complete an M.O.T check before selling your Frog Bike, the 1-year M.O.T warranty can be transferred to the new owner. Contact us for details on transferring your M.O.T warranty to a new owner.
Please note: The M.O.T warranty does not cover MTB suspension forks. M.O.T warranty only applies to Frog Factory Outlet bikes if a Warranty Plus application has not been accepted, applied for or if the bike is resold.
PLEASE NOTE: The standard Frog Warranty and Warranty Plus only apply to the original owner. They do not apply if the bike is subsequently sold on. Accessories sold on www.frogbikes.com have separate manufacturer's warranties. Please refer to our standard terms and conditions for further detail.
If you purchased your bike through a Frog Stockist please contact that stockist directly so they can investigate your warranty problem. If you bought the bike directly from Frog Bikes, please contact us on +44 1784 557300 or info@frogbikes.com to tell us about the problem. We will need your name and address, a contact number, and we'll also need proof of purchase, date of purchase and your unique frame number if you do not have Warranty Plus.
If it is a part that can be repaired or replaced, we will contact a local store and ask them to carry out the repair on our behalf, using one of their certified mechanics. We will pay for the costs if it is within 2 years of purchase. If this still doesn't fix the problem, you can send the bike back to us. To start this process please use the contact details in the paragraph above.
The standard warranty and warranty plus: extend from the date of purchase; apply only to genuine Frog bicycles sold originally by Frog Bikes and if proof of purchase is provided; are offered only to the original owner, and are not transferable to any subsequent owner if bought second-hand. Please note that for leased or hire bicycles the warranty is limited to 12 months, all other conditions apply.
It excludes: Any defect in the Goods arising from: fair wear and tear, assembly, maintenance, any modification of the frame, fork, or components from the original specifications or any installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as sold; wilful damage, abnormal storage or working conditions, accident, negligence by you or by any third party; if you fail to operate or use the Goods in accordance with the user manual; any alteration or repair by you or by a third party who is not one of our authorised repairers; or any specification provided by you.
