A new generation of children is learning to cycle with Bikeability’s life-changing Get Cycling in Schools project.
Children as young as three are learning the essential skills they need to begin cycling, using hundreds of free bikes made by sustainably-conscious UK-based kids’ bike manufacturer Frog Bikes.
Cardiff Council, a forward-thinking local authority in Wales, has been placing fleets of bikes across schools throughout Cardiff as part of The Cardiff Schools Bike Fleet Scheme.
Being part of a cycling club is not just great for adults, but for children too. With fuel prices having increased and better weather returning, what better way to travel than to cycle. Not only is it lighter on the pocket but excellent for being greener and improving mental well-being - and that goes for kids as well!
