Frog Bikes launches all-new Mountain bike range for kids

Frog Bikes, the award-winning British manufacturer of child-specific bikes, is proud to unveil its next-generation mountain bike range: the all-new Frog MTB 62 and Frog MTB 69. 

Purpose-built to replace the previous MTB line, these new models mark a bold leap forward in design, performance, and rider confidence - empowering kids aged 8 to 12 to explore trails with greater control, comfort, and independence.

From first-time trail riders to seasoned young adventurers, the new Frog MTB range delivers lightweight durability, trail-tuned geometry, and adventure-ready features in every ride.

“We’ve designed this new MTB range to meet the real needs of young riders,” said Jerry Lawson, co-founder of Frog Bikes. “It’s built to handle proper trails, fit growing bodies, and give kids the confidence to ride further and push their limits, without compromising on safety or comfort.”

The Frog MTB range is engineered for children, offering two frame sizes to ensure the perfect fit as they grow, and available in two brand-new colours, Glacier blue and Sandstorm gold.

• MTB 62 (24-inch): Ideal for ages 8–10, inside leg 58–70cm, RRP £870
• MTB 69 (26-inch): Ideal for ages 10–12, inside leg 65–83cm, RRP £880

Both models share the same high-performance, trail-tuned build:

• Lightweight aluminium frame (11.79kg for MTB 62, 12.91kg for MTB 69)
• Chunky 2.2” Kenda AMRAK tyres for superior grip and control
• RST F1RST suspension fork with 15mm Thru Axle hub for smoother, more stable rides
• 160mm hydraulic disc brakes for powerful, consistent stopping in all conditions
• 9-speed Microshift drivetrain with wide-range 11–46T cassette for effortless climbing
• Child-specific geometry, short stem, and wide handlebars for responsive handling
• Eco-conscious pedals made from durable rice husks, using 50% less plastic, without compromising strength

With adjustable handlebar height and tool-free seat post adjustment, each bike is designed to grow with your child, supporting better posture, improved control, and a more confident ride.
